Regional development

In the Nature Park Centre you can find a large choice of local products and Nature Park specialties. In this way we promote a continuous regional development and thus add to the positive image of the Nature Park. There are numerous cooperations with companies (restaurants, accomodation, ...) to expand the supply in the region. The Nature Park acts as an initiator for the development of destination supply and creates regional jobs. A major task is combining tourism and local recreation and strengthening the region as a positive side effect. An essential partner for us is Destination Waldviertel GmbH, whom we are keeping in close dialogue with. Synergies with nearby Nature Parks and various tourist destinations are made use of and are constantly expanded.
